In our last auction catalogue, we had asked our fellow collectors for suggestions. Many hundreds of replies came in. Yes, we might even say close to a thousand, and it would be a large task to thank all of you by letter. Hence, we are taking this means of showing our appreciation.

Your ideas were constructive ^your suggestions very helpful. Many of these ideas and suggestions will be put into effect immediately, others follow.

At all our sales, we enjoy the largest personal attendance of any auction sale in the United States. We had a little “family” discussion at our last sale, where there were present about 150 collectors, about the two day sales. Many thought we should have a one day session, starting from 10 o’clock in the morning until late in the afternoon. It was taken to a vote, and it seemed that the one day sale would be appreciated more than a two or three day sale.

Thus we start off with our mid-spring sale for a good and lengthy one day session. If time permits won’t you come personally, and be our guest? You may be surprised.
